We're extremely proud to welcome #NewmarketInColour to Newmarket this summer, with a colourful installation of butterflies taking over the town alongside many butterfly-themed family fun events.
Taking place to compliment the Mutiny In Colour Exhibition taking place at the National Horseracing Museum, Newmarket In Colour brings another burst of colour throughout the summer holidays.

Wednesday 2nd August - FREE Decorate and Plant Your Own Seeds
Working with Mr Fothergills, Waitrose welcomes you to decorate a plant pot with beautiful butterflies before planting your own seeds to take home and enjoy. Join in the fun between 10am - 2pm. Where: Waitrose, Fred Archer Way, Newmarket CB8 8NY
Monday 7th August - FREE Butterfly Cake Workshop
Decorate your very own butterfly cake with the team at the Heath Court Hotel. Taking place between 10am - 2pm, no booking required, simply pop along. Where: Heath Court Hotel, Moulton Road, Newmarket, CB8 8DY.
Tuesday 8th August - FREE Drop In Butterfly Activity Day

Tuesday 15th August - FREE Butterfly Crafts Session

Thursday 24th August - FREE Butterfly Rock Painting
Newmarket Community Arts welcomes all to visit their stand at in the Memorial Gardens to paint their very own beautiful butterfly rock. Part of the Summer Thursdays events planned by the Newmarket Town Council. Taking place between 1pm - 4pm. Where: Memorial Gardens, Newmarket, CB8 8JS

Colouring Competition:
Join in our creative colouring competition this summer and be in with a chance of winning a fun family hamper! Entry sheets are available from multiple businesses across the town, and also at our launch event on 24th July at The Guineas Shopping Centre. Grab yours, colour, paint, decorate in any way you wish and return to the red post box in Rookery House, The Guineas Shopping Centre before 9th September to enter. Good luck!
