The Urban Frame: Mutiny In Colour

June 3, 2023 - October 1, 2023
National Horseracing Museum

Following the huge success of the Moments exhibition at Moyse’s Hall Museum in 2021, which attracted nearly 25,000 visitors, West Suffolk is set to host what will probably be the largest modern art exhibition ever seen in the UK.

The Urban Frame: Mutiny in Colour will run simultaneously across three locations in West Suffolk (the National Horseracing Museum, Newmarket, Moyse’s Hall Museum, Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill Arts Centre) during the summer of 2023:

Organised in association with Brandler Galleries, the exhibition at the National Horseracing Museum will host over 50 works from some of the world’s most renowned contemporary artists including Banksy, Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, the Connor Brothers, STIK, Blak Le Rat, Pure Evil, My Dog Sighs, Kaws, Sherlock, Swoon, Ben Eine, Bambi, Hush and Lamont White.

A number of the works across the venues have never been exhibited before, including Sandcastle Girl, which was painted on a wall in Lowestoft during Banksy’s Spraycation to East Anglia in 2021. Banksy’s Hula Hoop Girl will be on display at the National Horseracing Museum.

Please click here for more detailed information relating to the other two venues and to book your tickets for either Moyse’s Hall or Haverhill Arts Centre. You will also find links through to their websites and find out a bit more about what will be on display in each location.
