"Having worked and lived in Newmarket for the last 9 years, I have a great sense of pride when it comes to this incredibly unique place. While the UK economy continues to change post-covid, we need to cohesively drive change which is why I have backed the BID and will continue to influence the change I want to see in Newmarket for the betterment of businesses, residents, and visitors."

"Established in 1780, Corney & Barrow are Royal Warrant Holders and have had a retail presence in Newmarket since 1993, situated on the corner of Rous Road and the High Street. During my first stint in Newmarket for Corney & Barrow as Shop Manager from 2005 to 2011, I was involved with the Retailers Association that pre dated the BID. On my return to Newmarket in 2018, as General Manager, the BID was already established and I was keen to continue this partnership. I am also involved with the Food & Drink Festival in the town."

"I am delighted to be a Director of Love Newmarket as we are a family owned Independent travel agency and have been in Newmarket for over 20 years. We see the benefits the BID’s give to towns like Newmarket which has been especially important with the Coronavirus Pandemic this year and for the future as we rebuild the high street.

Being part of the team of Directors gives me an opportunity to help shape the future high street in Newmarket for all to benefit and I would recommend all business’s to take up the opportunities available to you."

Newmarket Town Council

“As a town councillor and county councillor I was a part of the team who helped set up Love Newmarket BID back in 2016. Over the last five years the organisation has worked closely with the town council on joint projects like the Christmas lights and Saturday pop-up market events. Next year will prove a very challenging year and Love Newmarket will be at the forefront of driving footfall back to the town and revitalise the shopping experience so that customers come back.”
